What was social media like in 2013-2014 compared to 2024, in your opinion? Was it different compared to today?

30 years old - old timer here - let me tell you folks that Facebook was and Messenger was King around 2009 and 2010 and then faded by 2013 and I for one have only ever kept both because I need it to run Messenger however I rarely if ever at all use my Facebook 🖥️💻 📱🤳🏻 only to remember my password, LOL 😋😋😋😋

I got off in 2008 so I can't tell you first hand. Unless you count this as social media lol. What it appears like is just constantly amping up year over year with hate, division, disinformation and misinformation, and occasionally pics and videos of cats

Social networks were never good for people, back then and today.

I left facebook, instagram, twitter, and I don't miss them.
