How can you stop someone from continuing to accuse you of things that you aren't doing but they think that you are doing them?

Being accused of doing things that you are clearly NOT doing, yet they continue to accuse you even though you have told them that you aren't doing them; then they keep adding more things that you didn't do. How come they won't stop doing this? How can you stop them from doing it?

Prove them that they’re wrong.


If it’s at work, and this person keeps on accusing you even though it’s not true then talk to the manager, if it’s family or friend related talk to them try to make them understand, if your friend doesn’t believe then she he not really a good friend.



They might do this to you because they probably hate their life or having a bad day and trying to take it out on others.


Just know that there are people out there that will accuse you of anything, give you a hard time. you don’t need to prove anything, as long as you know your doing right. unless it’s law or work related matter or other necessary issue.

You don’t. You let them continue to blab their mouths of things that have no bearing on you. You don’t owe them an explanation, you don’t own them clarification. Especially if they’re still accusing you after the fact. Sounds to me like you don’t need them in your life.

Exactly 💯%!! I got really tired of trying to explain myself and for what? When I knew that I wasn't doing what I was being accused of. So now he's not in my life anymore which is fine with me because I can focus on myself and do the things that I enjoy doing.

As you should! There’s literally no point in you having to explain or justify yourself to anyone who isn’t going to listen and see the truth for themselves. They’ve already made up their mind to paint you in a certain way, so why let it stress you. I’m glad you saw otherwise and let that stress go.

That is a tough one. Since beating them to a pulp is out. Taking them to court would be expensive. Doing what they are accusing you of doing. Probably isn’t good.
Ignore them the best that you can.

This was just a so-called friend doing it. He was making things up and I couldn't believe my ears of being accused of things that I didn't do and wouldn't know how to do them even if I wanted to.
It's almost like when a drunk person gets an idea in their mind and no amount of trying to convince them that something didn't happen, their brain won't change their minds. 🙃
