Hmmm…2004 was a great year for me. I was 25 for most of it. I was kind of small-time “famous” around town because I was a bouncer at a popular bar. I had “cool” friends, I used to roll with a bunch of football players from the university in town where I went to college. A few of them were big time and got to the NFL, so they were big men on campus. One of them was my roommate. Between hanging with them and working at the bar, plus just generally being in the college scene…. a LOT of girls. Oh, and I was working at Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch, so I was fly too, on that company discount. Slinging weed, all kinds of money and excitement and women. Mannnnnnn, you feel like it’ll last forever, but the circus only stays in town for so long and time marches on. Crazy to think about in retrospect. And I can’t believe all that was going on at one time in my life.
Oh, also, my local sports teams were killin’ it. The New England Patriots were in the middle of solidifying their dynasty status with young Tom Brady, they won their 2nd Super Bowl in February of that year, and were awesome the next season too, when they also would win the next Super Bowl. That was still so fresh and new to me, I grew up when they were a league laughingstock.
And the Boston Red Sox finally broke “The Curse Of The Babe”, winning the first World Series since 1918, when they traded Babe Ruth the following year. AND WE WON IT RUNNING THROUGH THE NEW YORK YANKEES, IN HISTORIC FASHION. The Sox were down 3 games to none in a best of 7 series in the American League Championship Series, on the brink of elimination. They did the impossible and won four straight games to take the series and go on to the World Series (which was boring by comparison), which I believe is the only time it’s ever been done.
But I’ll never forget being at work for Game 7. We had an outdoor deck, and a neighbor who frequented the bar had a projector, show we showed the game outside on a huge sheet. We bought a bunch of cases of champagne, and I remember when they finally got that finally out, everyone went NUTS. I was spraying champagne all over the customers from atop a picnic table. Just a euphoric feeling I’ll never forget.
Yeah, just all-in-all…. that was Prime WhiteSteve. I was on an absolute HEATER with the ladies. I was working a good amount but at easy jobs where it was mostly socializing. Late to bed, late to rise. Still felt like I had endless time. Somehow I was playing Madden 2004 & 2005 and GTA: San Andreas through all this. When did I sleep?🤔 Yet I feel like I slept til I woke up most days.
Those were the glory days, for sure. Can’t believe that’s 20+ years ago now, holy shit. Feels like 5, haha
I had a pretty great time all my life, but I'll say 1990.
I was 36 that year and met a 30 year old named Petra. She turned out to be hypersexual and orgasmic. She was also my idea of the physical ideal for a woman - 5'1, under 115 lbs, super cute face, blue eyes, curly-wavy natural blonde hair, flawless, peaches and cream skin, and a figure like a Playboy model (not a lean Instagram model). We wound up living together for almost two years. I loved everything about her from the way she looked and dressed to her personality.
I had girlfriends from the time I was 16, but sex with her was far beyond compare. It was actually unbelievable. With her, I was a sexual god. I still think back on it with awe.
Why didn't you stay with her? She seemed like she was your ideal. ☺
@Daniela1982. It's complicated. As it turned out, we couldn't make it as life-long partners even though I loved her with my heart and soul and she loved me.
It was hard separating because we loved each other. I have never felt such pain in my life. It took a year for me to pull myself together and start moving forward.
I still love her and will never forget her.
I guess Captain and Tennile were wrong, Love won't keep one together. 😞
@Daniela1982. Yeah. It's way too complicated to go into. Our separation didn't have anything to do with cheating or anything mean. I just knew that we couldn't make it as life-long partners even though separating was like ripping out part of my soul. It just wasn't meant to be.
It worked out for the best for me because I met my wonderful wife. We've been happily married now for over 28 years and have built a wonderful life together. Our relationship is solid.
Petra reconnected with me many years later on Facebook and then we spoke a few times. She was living out of state. I was overjoyed to be in touch and to know that she was happy. She had grown and was more extraordinary than ever.
Five years after that, I read that she had died from a sudden medical problem at the age of 55. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal. True love never dies.
That is sad. But at least you gained in the knowledge that she had been happy after all.
It would have to be 1977! I was happily married and didn't have any financial worries.
My husband and I got along great together 💕 and I was working and became pregnant in July of that year. I never had morning sickness and felt great the entire time I was pregnant.
He was in a rock band playing lead guitar 🎸 and singing as well. I loved going to practice with him and watching him playing his 🎸 guitar. He was a fantastic musician.
Happy happy happy year 1977!
Well it definitely would not be any of my 3 worst high school years. 9-11. Yeah, it felt like 9/11 sometimes. I hated it with a passion because I got made fun of and bullied a lot by other girls. It only stopped when I beat the shit out of a couple of them in the girl's bathroom. Three girls entered, one came out. 😡
@daniela1982 They say that violence never solves anything but that's a lie
@Gospeedracer Well they never bothered me again, so what does that tell you?
@daniela1982 I've done those thing to bullies too with exactly the same outcomes lol.

Fun. Just a blast.
Bad choice. Bad news. Bad changes
Adulting with style.
Adulting advanced classes
Woulda, shoulda, could've...
WTF? Why me? Lifes different now...
Definitely my late teens. I was wasting my time In college studying art and was social awkward and hated myself. I wish i got a apprenticeship or hoped on the first plane out and had fun and done something with my life whilst I was still free too
Probably 2014, when I was 21.. I would tell myself to start hitting the gym and go for computer science instead of Acting..
Yeah, I love acting but I just eventually came to the realization that you can't raise a family off of something so unstable unless you make it to the top.. Or somewhere near.
I honestly don't know. The year hasn't happened yet. Maybe it's 2025?

None. They all sucked suicidally.
Hmmm… I guess either 2015 or 2018… 2017 as an honorable mention.
For little me it was awesome. Transformers: The Last Knight and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom both came out back to back. For Christmas in 2018, to me it was like part 2 to 2015’s Christmas. I got the biggest Lego sets of the Jurassic World Series, and both were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I still have them. Man those were the glory days. Literally everything changed in 2020…. I hope I can help bring those days back, or something similar.
My Sophomore Year of College. I was at the height of my powers, it was before I suffered a knee injury and my speed and explosion were elite. Truly feel I would have been drafted if not for the injury.
Just one portion: I would avoid meeting a big man on campus a week before my 18th birthday, just a few days after enrolling in college.
Possibly 1987, when I was involved in my 1st true relationship with a girl.
Not sure I'd want to. My life would have taken a completely different route than it has.
Honestly, last year was really good all around. I'd be happy with a repeat of that.
None. I wouldn't want to go back and change the timeline.
1991, I was a kid, 6 years old, grew up as a Chicago Bulls fan, would have been nice to see the Bulls win championships in 1991, 1992 and 1993, I saw them win their last 3 in 1996, 1997 and 1998 when I got a bit older. Just simpler times in the early 90s as a kid.
None, the best years I've had have also been the worse years, as you can’t have the good without the bad in comparison. And I wouldn’t want to change anything in my past, as it’s all led me to where I am now.
1978 when I was at middle school stage with no worries about college, job, marriage or family life.
I would go back to when I was 27. I was running 3 hour marathons and benching 300 pounds.
I kinda liked most of the 80s.
But I can't specify any year to be "the best year of my life".
2013 was a very good year for me.
Isn’t that ironic? Lol. Well my awesome year was proceeded by 2014 which was by far was one of the worst years of my life.
We got to remember that our past decisions (good or bad) sometimes take a while to come out in full effect.
I made some good decisions in 2012 that led to good events in 2013. But I also got a bit greedy with my luck in late 2013 which I later sorely regretted in 2014.
But I also had some extraneous events happen in 2014 that were completely out of my control. It sucks but it happens.
But fast forward now. 2021 was a good year for me I made some extremely stupid decisions at the end of it (you know what it is about) I suffered a lot in 2022 and 2023. But 2024 started to turn around because I decided to work hard and make much better decisions in the last few years.
Now I am dealing with another extraneous event (my work gotten absolutely insane) YET my better past decisions (side hustles) have given my leverage to deal with it. Much better place financially and I got a side gig I might go full time with it. I got the option to walk from my job now if I have to. But that’s because of the hard work I put in the last two years. NOT luck.
While I do believe in luck I also believe how you REACT to good or bad luck heavily influences your luck later.
Maybe a range. 1947 through Summer, 1963. The best of times.
☝🏻 I'm dead 💀😵 LMFAO!!!
@DrPepper12 I noticed. As we say in Eire, Hang a crepe on your nose. Ya brains are dead.
from the summer before Senior year of High school to right before the start of college
🔥🔥🔥🔥 good times!
1998. I was 17 and that was the best summer of my life. I miss the days of 0 responsibilities and just having fun as my sole purpose.
I wish I could go back but then it won’t make much of difference. Society is judgmental and full of pimps and hookers now and back then the same.
1971, when I learned I was (and am) regarded astonishingly handsome.
2017. When I hadn't lost anyone yet.
2016 was a pretty good year for me.
2016.
Oh sorry lol
Probably one of the best years of my life was 2021. That was the year after my breakup, and I thought I would never recover, but in fact that turned out to be one of the best years ever, full of stuff I was doing with my best friend, places we went... I loved that year so much that I truly do wish I could go back and do it all over again.
Last year and do all of it differently.
1979!!🎆🌋🎇🎉🎊🥳🤙

BRUH!! ME TOO!!! When the Hittites rolled up in their chariots to our village it was 🔥🔥🔥
@DrPepper12 that's what I keep telling people...
