Jacuzzi tub/shower or oversized walk in shower?

Adding another bathroom. Can't decide. Not enough room for both a tub and a separate shower.

perhaps think... on who, is going to use it way more often, and what their preferences are

and if space or less space is a factor, then consider that a slightly smaller sized tub can be very annoying and you might end up not using it at all

if there's enough space for a well sized tub that's actually going to be used regularly, go with it, but if not... then have the nicer shower you can possibly get with that space

I've got 40"x70" to work with. So an oversized one person tub would work. Plus it would be classed as a full bath then.

if you have the space... and at least one person who would use it and enjoy it... then why not, go for it
