Absolutely not. I really wish people would stop glamorizing Dubai. It’s not as beautiful or calm as people think it is. Especially in the western world. A lot of horrible people, overworked and underpaid domestic workers, catcalling from locals, expensive because of overconsumption, the list is endless for why Dubai is absolute garbage. I’ve been there twice and have no plans on ever returning.

I know 4 people that speak Arabic. A guy And his sister from Lebanon, he's not going back to the middle east. A Saudi guy, who doesn't want to go out there unless it's to see family, and my girlfriend, who's Israeli Jewish. She's willing but it isn't safe for her to do so.

So, shit that would get me and my partner arrested. I'm glad we don't have that shit here.

I would make more money there and pay tax but my family is already to well established here for me to move.
