My boyfriend is actually a manager and he had a worker that would abuse the sick leave. They didn’t have a limit on it so the smallest excuse he would use! Eventually they put him on an improvement plan, but he still wasn’t doing the best. Would mess up orders and nearly killed someone. If she was hired and then let’s say her mother got sick and needed help then I can see that, but would have to give proof or if she was able to work part time then I’d think it was okay. But if she just left or took too many days off then yes as I currently work for a company that you build your vacation, but I have worked at a place that gives you it right away. But still not cool to abuse anything.

Her getting fired is her fault for being a no show too many times. I know it sucks she was fired, but she should have never been a no show too many times.
