Can you correctly identify the LOWER-CASE G?

In 2018, Johns Hopkins conducted a study and found that 25% of people did not accurately identify the lower-case letter G in the commonly-used Calibri font.

One of the letters below is correct. Which one is it?

The Johns Hopkins study from 2018 could be conducted today. Only 35% of us picked TOP RIGHT, which is the correct answer. I also picked it wrong, thinking it was bottom left.

If you don't believe this, open MS-Word (or similar), specify Calibri as the font, and type a lower-case g.

FYI... the text that we usually see in GaG is in Helvetica font.

number one this is a highly sculpted but common form. So the lower case g should be easily seen in the character. Number two the remaining question "Is the ear leading or trailing. in the natural flow of writing you would lead into the top left and continue with the exiting stroke at the lower right leading to your next letter.

It is harder to read. Calibri is sans serifs but there is a version with serifs it seems. serifs are small lines on fonts that help guide our eyes.
Not a surprise that the quoted guy found people had difficulty as I think it has long been known.
