I feel like the massive majority of people who said yes forgot what happened to Morty when he got that crystal. If y'all want to sign up for a life of living hell go ahead by I'm going back in time to live in the forest with my Celtic clansmen. That is assuming I had a way to speak with them and communicate through which I'm not even sure is possible with how much of the traditions of the celts worked if we can even recreate the dialect even one of the tribes have.
The closest thing we have to language from them right now I think is modern Gaelic and Welsh but the celts were and Oral tradition that passed on their myths and stories by word of mouth through the generations. So, by now the languages would be nearly impossible to communicate with it would be like taking a modern English speaker somewhere they only spoke old English and expecting them to be able to carry a conversation. Not to mention there are major changes in the various Celtic languages just in Scottland, Ireland and Wales. All three are Celtic languages but they would probably barely be able to understand each other if at all even though all three languages originated from the Celtic culture.
The options said get a glimpse, not that you could stay.
Didn't specificly specify glimpse.
But say if it was being there a few hours or for a day or even a few days.
Then I think visiting the future sounds more interesting.
If the option was to stay permanently or as long as you'd like, that would be a different choice.
by the way,
I also think Celtic languages and culture are interesting. :)
The future, you can gain inspiration or even change things.
As an engineer, a peek is all I need.
Neither. The past that far back doesn't interest me, and nobody will be alive in 200 years so it'll just be nature or a wasteland
The future is bleak, especially for countries like the USA. I would rather not know about any of that.
That take makes me sad that you feel this way. Sure the world is in a pickle and the media paints a bleak outlook BUT you're alive, you have positive traits and are a vibrant and beautiful person. MAKE the world better for others and yourself.
There's no button to press to achieve this, only a perspective to adjust and see what good things are around the corner or right in front of you.
@Nikki1989 I disagree respectfully of course. This is something we don't know for sure but I'm thinking it's bleak now and we will turn a corner and restore normalcy and find a way to be better than these last 10 ridiculous years. We need to empower young people to be better than us. We fucking failed the youth in this country, mainly due to boomer policies that ensures their kids and grandkids couldn't do better than themselves.
Gen Z I'm talking to you. Keep challenging status quo and find folks in my age group that want to be part of the solution. We can learn from each other and 200 years from now we will be the reason it's great

there won't be a civilization 200 years from now
people aren't having kids, abortion is at an all-time high, war and genocide would be justified, humanity would be feminized and have no technological progress as a result
the extreme gap in looks, wealth, status would create such a huge imbalance that polygamy is legal, supported by 20% of men, 100% of women but rejected by 80% of men. this in turn would cause a revolution by the bottom 80% of men who don't get access to resources, sex or any rights but to be the cannon fodder of society
global warming won't happen but given how stupidly retarded our species is becoming despite immense educational funding... we'd do something stupid that does destroy the Earth that is if aliens haven't done so already
I think the future for selfish reasons. You could look at "history" books and plan your gambling strategy or plan to become an investment guru. See whether or not we're still wasting resources like we do now especially the sentient ones.
I would prefer 200 years in future..
However , if I have option to only past, Let's go Back to Origin Point of all Religions, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Jainism, Hinduism..
Gather Evidence to birth of each religion, figure out is there a real Religion and end this Miserable clash of religion and Bring Forward a Unity of Religions Known as Humanity!..
yup i definitely wanna see the future. specifically i wanna see if we did anything to mitigate climate change.
Go back to the Christmas eve of 1985 when I was living in my apartment and had hoped to be in bed long before Santa arrived And the second wish is that I'm pretty much happy with the evening and I hope I will be doing the same thing I was then with the same girl and going it exactly the same way, with the same results best Christmas eve ever !!!
I kind of know what life was in the past and I'm not impressed. I'd wanna see the future and see what kind of president I was. I'm sure there were a lot of sex scandals.
I’d be curious about the future to see what kind of gadgets have been invented and what diseases have been cured.
I'd be really curious about the future as long as I didn't have to stay there.
I seen it before thousand times hundred ways on ten screens this is the worst screen to time travel into the faggy screen I hate guys there is no future here but I came from 420,420,000 years ago um bring this tech back then be great
I would LOVE to see anything... that the Spaniard erased before their conquest...
As a historian the past is of tremendous interest so I'd love to see 2000 years ago. if I could select the place and culture, preferably several.
I wouldn't want to risk changing the historical timeline, so let me look at the future.
Neither, but especially the glimpse of civilisation 200 years in the future as it could result in a paradox being created.
Not interested in either. Life is about relationships, not technology.
First one. Would love to see my ultra masculine ancestors killing predators and hunting food.
Glimpse is good. I can check it against my predictions.
Cannot do anything with either information. 200 years in the future is when I will be long dead. I better die and find out what lies beyond instead.
I'm a historian n wanna see the future. Kills me I won't get to see next seasons shows...
I've asked a similar question on here...
If someone gave you a book of your life, would you look at the last page?
I don't think so how bad living human on earth... so definitely I wish to go earlier and live with nature... but I found some interesting answers as well...
2000 years ago. Knowing the future could trigger a butterfly effect upon it.
I'd like to see the future, like in Futurama.
I’d go to the future. Don’t care too much about the past.
I would choose the past one.
Future. History books already tell about the past.
It's a hard choice, I wanna do both.
No benefit to looking back. See the future
The future is always more interesting.
I want to see the future.
Know what's already been.
200 years in future!
I won't be around that long either way.
Whichever has the most buxom babes !!!
I'm going in the past
I’d ask for Lotto numbers so I could retire.
It's the future for me I'd love to see it
See into my own future
The future.
