A big heavy American luxury car - the old kind that are big, like the biggest cars from the 60s and 70s. They make great road cars. Comfortable and quiet with enough room to carry a lot of stuff when I travel.
There are parts of the US that used to have unlimited speed, but I don't think there are any more. I don't care about driving real fast though, but faster than the modern speed limit when I'm out on the open road.
Oh, and the car needs a good stereo for road trip tunes.

I don't remember for sure, but I think some of the Cadillacs had 500 CI engines.
If I'm totally sure that the road is perfectly straight, there is no traffic and no speed limit, a McLaren F1 would be fun to drive... and see if I can exceed its rated top speed of 240 mph (386 kph).

I'd have to borrow it from its owner. There's no way I can afford the US$2 million (or more) for the car.
Thanks for MHO
I'm already very happy with my own Panamera.
However, I definitely would like to get behind the wheel of a McLaren F1 again.
That's one car I've repeatedly rented in Germany and effortlessly pushed on the Autobahn and in the Nurburgring.
But, 'til the next time I do that again, I'll comfortably enjoy the twin turbos of my Panamera S E-hybrid on the open roads of California.
Thank you @LadyBecks for the MHO. :)
I had a fast car and it scared the shit out of me the one time I got on it and took it to 120 in like 10 seconds. 800 hp was just too much, so I traded it in on something less potent. Besides, they get stolen all the time to make stupid you tube videos.
