Would you date a pothead?

I've had this crush on this guy for months and I had no idea he smoked pot every day before school Because he really doesn't look like it... Would it be bad to date a guy that's always on weed?

nope, I wouldn't. do you smoke? if he does it f***ing everday before school, IMO, that's gross, stupid, and a turn off.

You probably shouldn't, but at the end of the day it's about what you can and would tolerate. Just know what you'd get yourself into and prepare for consequences.

i mean if he gets her to start, would she like that, would she not? would the people she hangs out with like that or not? how often would she smoke it if he does it so often? if he does anything harsher would she tag along? is he a dealer? come on. and...haha him smelling like pot is still pretty bad too imo. :)

No. I have no issue with pot, but I do prefer men who don't have a life that revolves around it. If he has to get high to go to school rather than to wind down, that shows where his priorities are at.

i have no idea, I have an aunt who does weed and smokes non stop and alwasy has a beer in her hand and I love her to death, she's so funny and loving but I think I'm "harsh" because I see how it affects you after years of using it. And whatever guy I date, my parents have to like and my dad would NEVER approve that. I'm sorry if it sounds rude, but I'm just being honest, and I have never tried drugs because I was cocain addicted baby, and my dad always tells me id get addicted if I try. (im adopted.

Blame the user, not the drug. I can understand you hate addicted people, but weed is pretty much the least unhealthy drug you can take (includes legal drugs such as painkillers, caffeine, alcohol etc) and it's got a lot of medicinal benefits.

Oh and cocaine is something entirely different. That's a hard-drug, weed is only psychologically addictive. Meaning that casual use will not be habit forming, abuse will.

see I was born addicted, people always tell me I have an addictive personality meaning I get addicted to things often. That's how I was raised. Nothing is really going to change my opinion on something this serious, because I'm my mind, its not a little addiction.

No it wouldn't. It all depends on how much it affects him. He still goes to school, so he doesn't fit the stereotype. Doesn't make him any less boyfriend material.

Well in that case it really shouldn't matter. The main reason people wouldn't want to date a pothead is because of the burnout and drop-out stereotype. It's a much safer choice then caffeine or alcohol, and it clearly doesn't affect his life negatively.

If you end up dating him, you can ask him to put on fresh clothes and take a shower before you get together, to get rid of the smell.

Potheads aren't all that bad.
