I figure I'm good for another 20 years, but the odds are against it. But do I want to live a lot longer? It really depends on "quality of life". It's just something you have to decide as you go. Even most people in their 90s still want to live longer. Someone young has no idea how they'll feel when the time comes. Most young people say they don't want to live to an old age - and almost all of them change their minds when the time comes.

Most people have to be in pretty bad shape before they think it's not worth it. Like most don't want to be a vegetable who is oblivious to the world around them. That's why we have living wills ( that's the pull-the-plug document ). You get to decide ahead of time what is an acceptable quality of life, but there are limitations.

Nope, as long as I go quickly, I can check out any time, now.

Although, with my luck, I'll live to be 137, and the last 80 years will all be a miserable, living hell. So, basically just like the last few years have been, already.

I think 70s is my limit after that it seems like those old people really start being in bad health

@Apple1996 I’m 71, and although I’m older in years, I still feel and act young. It’s about attitude, healthy living, and a good sex life. I’m good for several more years at least!
