I believe for me as a woman from a man to respect me understand that their boundaries definitely consent definitely understand body language I have a father I’ve been raised a certain way. I have Uncle man treat women a certain way I was taught that men are to be looked at as these leaders in it doesn’t matter what role you’re in teacher bus driver, and they are given respect to social worker all of that so I can look to you to do certain things, but this is just what I was thought but I’m also not going to let you go out of your way to do something And think you have to. I don’t wanna owe you.

There are many aspects when it comes to respect...
For me respect is basically understanding the point of view of the other... listening to them and not just keep on putting yourself up all the time or imposing your thoughts on others...
Respect is motivating each other to grow... to succeed together... and not looking down on those who fail and help them achieve things instead...
Respect is giving value to the point of view of others and even if you do not agree with them then let them know in a polite way rather than being a jerk...
Do not try to harm or hurt them in any way, be it physical or mental... respect the boundaries... if someone is not ok with something then do not do it with them... like for example: mostly happens with women when men forces themselves onto them or vice versa...
And respect does not comes from a particular gender, or age or even the species... i believe animals deserve respect like humans do... children deserve respect like elders do... a sanitation worker deserves the equal respect as a CEO of a multinational company... so basically respect is neutral and everyone deserves it unless you do wrong with others...

Respect would be not being rude/unkind to someone without a good reason. It would be listening when they speak. Coincidentally feminists pushed the idea that women should never listen to men for many decades. The result is that you don't really have to worry about a man doing something for you just because you're a female anymore. Ain't going to happen.

Respect is something that should be earned and never given freely that is my stance on it regardless of whether it's towards a man or woman.

If you were raised to respect and look up to men, you are in the minority today. Disrespecting men is the norm now.

Men and women should respect each other and value their differences, but that has not been the case for a long time now.
