Which is a better car in your opinion or experience, an Acura or a Volvo SUV?

I'm just fishing for experiences with these cars. I hear Volvos aren't that great and break down a lot.

Volvos used to be great cars, safe and reliable. Then, FORD bought Volvo in 1999 and later sold it to a Chinese company. Volvo is no longer a safe reliable car. It's known for quality defects, less then average reliability, and low safety scores.

Acura, on the other hand, is the top quality car made by HONDA, known for its excellent quality, reliability and safety.

To answer the question... Acura is much better than Volvo.

Acura is a sedan, so if you are looking for an SUV, you might consider a Honda CR-V or Toyota Highlander, both excellent cars. I have friends and relatives who have them, and like them.

Both are good cars, but I hear and see that Volvo has the best 'crash' rating.

I personally prefer electric, and drive a Tesla - Model S.

They are each going to have their own issues. All vehicles do as they age. But Acura may of may not give you less greif.

My gut feeling is Acura, but I suggest reading reviews for both models/years in Consumer Reports. DM if you would like help with that.
