At times it can be.. life is about balance and how to be grateful in good times and determined in hard times. God loves us and gives us what we need to deal with any pain. We must rely on Him for our joy and pleasure.

Well, pain & pleasure seem to act as objective incentives. Safeguards to keep us aligned to a certain path that life wants us to be on in order for us to survive & thrive long enough to proliferate for whatever purpose. To be a complex life form means that we must be confined in this way for whatever reason. Maybe this is hell & we all were sinners in past lives¿ 🤷‍♂️
