When I was a youngin, I was tryna fit in with the other kids in my neighborhood riding bikes and all. One day we were doing a loop around the neighborhood & there was a steep hill with a grass bump near the end of it. Everyone was ahead of me & went down just fine.. but I was a big back so I had a lot of mass yk just accumulating speed at higher rates than the other kids. Long story short, ended up flying like 5 feet in the air, hit my nuts on the bike seat, lost control of the damn thing & flew straight into a bush. I brushed it off like it never happend but I was walkin like the penguin for days afterward.
if u didn't liquify ur big macs then u weren't a true big back

First thing that comes to mind was a specific place, it was this large jungle dome full of climbing racks and things to just explore. The place also had a fantastic swimming pool. We'd go every year and its my most relaxed memory.
It in fact left a permanent impact on my subconscious as an adult. You know how you can sometimes have childhood trauma that resurfaces as an adult in nightmares or your daily life? I assume that's like this but in reverse. Whenever I am stressed out and overwork myself I begin dreaming of very similar swimming pools or that I am visiting that place and am staying in the cottage.
My body actively uses the association with that moment where I felt super happy and relaxed for an entire week after to calm itself down when needed.
Yeah, I totally understand.
Now it is like your happy place. You can visit anytime in your mind. It reminds me of my high-school English teacher. He taught us to find that place, the happy place. It could be a memory like yours, or a dream, a thought, anything...
And each day before class started he would have us put our heads down and "go there" lol
If your curious this is the current version of that place. You get some glimpses of the pool and jungle dome. https://youtu.be/L2OpWtRPUiI?feature=shared
Growing up I'd be send to the countryside for a couple of weeks during the summer.
At one of the places I was in, there was this barn FILLED with boxes and we'd build castles, houses, whole ass sets for various of fantasy play + a little more dangerous activity, right outside there was a LOT of broken cars and shit, which we'd also use as parts for our playing. Part of that was broken glass, where we'd cut ourselves just enough that we'd bleed and colour I'd red making it "blood stones", was a nice collection to all the rocks, shells, crystals and such we gathered.
Well this isn't necessarily a childhood memory because this happening I turned 18 and I was about two months away from graduating high school and on this particular day we were doing senior stuff and we were getting our caps and gowns and everyone was sitting in the auditorium and me and my friends were sitting in seats that weren't too far away from the stage and one of my friends said it would've been funny if they had just thrown ours to us because we weren't to far from the stage and every time I think about that it makes me laugh

I just thought of one.
When I was little, my dad and uncle took me with them on an outing to someplace in the desert.
I picked up a stick, stood on a rock, and started slashing at the bushes around me.
My uncle said "Who are you, Prince Valiant?" And I said "No. I'm Prince Charming." LMAO
They both chuckled. Now I can understand why. But what I had in mind at the time was the scene from the Disney animated film Snow White when Prince Charming was slashing his way through the black brambles with thorns that the witch had conjured.
doing "images" from sand, flowers, whatever we could find, cover them with a broken glass and hide under the sand and then uncover only the part under the glass...
we were spending hours on gathering colorful elements to our "images"
When I was a young girl and whenever it would rain outside, my Mom would make us a nice pan of chocolate fudge - from scratch and make it in the stove.
When the fudge was finally ready my sister and I would argue about who gets to scrape the excess chocolate from the pan Mom made the fudge in, or which one of us got to lick the big spoon she stirred the fudge with.
Mom usually gave the spoon to me and she left a little bit of extra fudge on it.🙂👍🏼
Probably our family vacations that were only about an hour drive from our hometown but felt like a different world.
Collecting frogs and all that...
And playing all kinds of outdoor games all day long with surrounding neighbors, etc.
Generally spoken I have no good memories of my father. In the best case he was just absent, which was always the best for my brothers and I. Nevertheless, there is one, and only one amusing memory involving my father that still makes me smile.
When I was a child we lived in Congo, and the only water allowed to be used in the kitchen or for coffee and tea, was boiled in kind of a modern version of a samovar. Mind there was a tab, outside near the entrance, giving water from I don't know where. Of course strictly forbidden to drink that water.
One day still, being really thirsty, I just went over to that tab and drank from it. My father caught me and got terribly angry, but then, seeing the big rain water barrel, he grasped me and threw me into that barrel that was full of lovely cool rain water. Seeing me amused and happily laughing, he for once couldn't keep from smiling... That memory still makes me smile. At least I have one happy memory of that man.
Wandering all day "Outside with friends" just making S up to do. We might play Stickball, Hockey, Football (American), Basketball, Tennis, all in one day. Going to the corner deli and buying candy, baseball cards, Swedish fish, they were a penny a piece, the deli guy sold them individually.
I can go on, lol.
Me playing video games on our PlayStation 2 with my elder brother. I can really smell that time.
Having fun during class with 3 of my closest friends in elementary school. Also, watching anime with my cousin in law.
Building igloos and snowmen in really white winters. Unfortunately climate change has made that an impossibility nowadays. 😕
Putting the water hose in a tree and running back and forth through it in the summers and making mud pools lmao. I would sit like a little pig and roll around in it while my dad bbq or did the yard work and heโd teach me different tree names.
I climbed a tree before church in my dress. Momma was mad, but good ole pops was like leave her alone, she's 6, she just being a 6 yr old

Fucking up my GiJoe action figures with homemade pipe bombs
that one teen girl with the gorgeous eyes at the town fair.. I was mesmerized by her smile as well
Sorry I have nothing. Most of anything from before I was 16 was wiped from my memory by a near death accident that should have ended my life.
Probably getting honor roll for the first time in my education and it was in the 5th grade I was so proud to achieve it
I used to love playing video games with my dad as a kid. It's something I'll always remember about our relationship. It was really one of the few things we shared in common. I was always more like my mom than my dad. My sister was the opposite, as she'd follow my dad around more.
When my cousin phil caught the deigos that killed my cousin Ralph. It was like fireworks. A dozen quick loud pops and 4 itallians were dead. I was 7 or 8.
In alive and well. Currently helping a homeless person get on there feet. I've never been ok. Don't know if that exists.
I promise I could never.
When I was in grade school I had to walk to school. I walked on Main street and in the winter we used to throw snowballs at trucks. Sometimes the driver would stop and we would run like hell.
Playing in the snow with my father. It is really the last and only worthwhile memory I have of my parents.
It was summer time and she was hot Rebecca (17) The girl that live down the street from me took my virginity when I was (13) years old man that was a good summer she took me down and blew me mind all summer long.
When my rabbit was stealing food from my parrot. The parrot caught him and started pecking him :P
Lmao ๐
That's cute, I remember coming home from school after coming to from the candy store with my siblings, and watching the 3 and 4 pm cartoons..
I also played with mud a lot. We would make food out of mud. Apart from that, we would find fruit juice, chocolate, and chip wrappers around and pretend we were shopping at the market.
Riding my bike down the driveway and into the woods. The driveway is on a hill and my parents have 5 acres of land and I enjoyed riding my bike across it all.
That is a sweet memory. Probably riding our bikes to the local 7-eleven to buy candy with our spare change. Or playing army wearing my dad's old army shirts. In the summer wearing them with shorts, we looked like we were wearing dresses.
When my brother and I were young, Mom and Dad took us across the country to an amusement park. When we arrived, The park was closed and my father said "Well, piss on it" and he did :)
My dad being proud of my behavior or a hievement
