Should single men pay more in taxes?

They don't benefit much to society while reaping the rewards of said society. Coupled and married have proof that they are better people and through family life are investing in making society better. Single men tend to coast living for themselves.

Also factoring patriarchal advantages they get, men should give back.

That wouldn't really be equality now would it? Men should definitely recognize the advantages they have in society (and im just waiting for the post where some guy starts listing off the disadvantages as if I didn't know) and be grateful for them, but they shouldn't be subject to penalties for it.

It's not a penalty, it's about paying their fair share. I specifically said single men since they get the most benefit. It would be like raising taxes on the rich.

Equity leads to equality. I also only am allowing women to reply since men tend to be less educated on social issues and take things way too personally. Not all ofc but too many to where it derails the conversation.

I still don't think even single guys should need to pay more. Except maybe the ones who are drains on the government or their parents because they are perpetual man-children.

I'd agree with that. Men 18 and over have to prove they're not man children based on interviews and home inspections. Kind like a parole
