I like doing them all 😂😂 My boyfriend always tries to help me around the house but I politely tell him "no", because I know he doesn't do it as well as I do. When it comes to things like that, I do have a bit of a disorder 😞 The only thing I have a problem with, is cleaning the toilet he uses, because he has a problem hitting the bowl.
@exitseven put gutter guards on your gutters. You won't have to clean them ever again
@exitseven go to home depot or lowes, buy the guards and install them yourself. That's what I did 5 years ago. I think it cost me like $300. To do front and back gutters
Worrisome - “because I know he doesn’t do it as well as I do”

Our older brother asked our elderly mom… which daughter she likes more… mom said, well… one won’t spend 1/2 of a penny, the other spends like there is no tomorrow (I’m exaggerating a bit)… therefore she can’t pick.
I spend in what’s worthy to make our lives better/easier.
Hubby wanted a lawn mower. We have a very steep hill… so it has to be a good one… = $10k ish…
Now we just hire out … so that he can spend that money on a nice dirt bike to go out and have fun instead of doing chores.
Also, we can’t take our money with us when we do leave this world… enjoy some, give some and leave the rest to kids.
I hate the monthly deep clean I do in the kitchen, dining room, living room, and family room. All of the kitchen appliances and furniture in the room have to come forward so I can dust the baseboards and walls that are behind them.
I start with the same chore I do weekly: cleaning inside the refrigerator. I use vinegar on the glass shelves and that's usually enough to clean the smudges and food remnants off the glass.
Then I clean the baseboards and vacuum/sweep/mop the floors.
After that, I dust and clean the furniture in each room, which involves removing books from bookshelves. The books themselves often pick up a lot of dust, which I try to remove as best I can while focusing on the bulk of the dust on the shelves.
I do some organizing in each room, and I also inventory the food we have stored for emergencies. I make a list of food items we need to pick up and I post it on the refrigerator.
I live in a 3 story house by myself. I can't afford to hate any chores lol. Cleaning the house is rather therapeutic for me. I suppose the most annoying one would be getting rid of the mineral buildup in the toilets I don't use from evaporation. Only way to deal with it is by turning off the water and leaving vinegar soaked paper towels on the stains for a while. I now make it a habit to at least flush all of them once a day or so.
Probably cleaning the shower/bathtub. It’s awkward in terms of body positioning, I hate the feeling of Comet powder’s abrasiveness when I’m scrubbing, it’s like nails on a chalkboard for me, and I’m a psychopath so I use a little brush with stiff bristles between every inch of every tile with bleach solution to clean or prevent mildew, truly pre-crime behavior, lmao
I too share that INTENSE aversion to comet!! LMFAO 🤣😆🤣

Toilets, bidet, bathtub and shower cleaning. Water contains lime and chemicals which dissolve limescale deposits are nasty, mostly acids or chlorine. I proposed once an ukrainian girl who cleans rooms in the clinic where I work to clean my home. 3-4 hours work two times in month for around 200$ wasn't bad offer but she declined after cleanings 2 times. Quality of her cleanings wasn't good. I used 365nm UV light in baths and it wasn't really clean, glass surfaces weren't clean either. She liked just to remove 2 hours long dust from my Murano glass collection then to walk around with vacuum cleaner remaining time.
I don’t like any chores. Thank goodness hubby does a few things in the house. I taught my teen kids to do some. Keep things orderly.
the rest we just hire out. It’s well worth the money. Our cleaning ladies does a great job and love coming home to an orderly, veal, tidy home. We also hire lawn guys… so that it’s easier on my hubby.
I have always believe in not wasting time… since I worked hard to get my higher education… so that I can make a better life… I refused to waste time doing chores when the professionals can do a better job.
Dusting was a chore that once hated however I discovered it could be fun with a leaf blower & a lot easier as well. On the flip side I don’t use the leaf blower while dusting my old SONY Television with 1080p.
Petting & bumping I think it would be dust free. Maybe someone should open a television petting zoo.
Wow! Look at that. Yes!
I find SOME reward in most household chores though I do find the gardening to be less rewarding than other stuff. Polishing wooden furniture was sometimes a drag too, I have to make it PERFECT before quitting and that was time consuming.
Inground pool maintenance
..,... had no clue how much time/work (and $$$) they require, until we bought a house with a pool 🤽
all of them... they are boring, repetitive, and never-ending...
Cleaning dirt, soap scum or calcified water buildup in the shower is the actual worst in my opinion.
Which chore do you hate the most Abby?
Well, in our dorm, it is picking up after one of my roommates. She leaves water bottles everywhere. Never mind the fact that I try not to buy or use plastic bottles, but she leaves them all over the place.
It isn't like we haven't said something and she just ignored it. She really is like absent minded when it comes to that. Oblivious is an understatement XD
That does sound rather annoying. You gotta teach her about Yeti water bottles or something lol
Perhaps you should start pulling up adds for them anytime she leaves her laptop open and unattended lol
Damn girl, that IS bad. I think I might be petty enough that were I in your position, I would be tempted to start collecting the plastic bottles and putting them on her bed
Sometimes it's fun to give in to the petty urges lol
Actually gotta go clean the kitchen right now, so voting for that, lol.
I think the worst is just dust getting everywhere. I don't mind vacuming but when you have a bunch of objects that get dusty, I don't like having to clean that at all. Other chores I'm kinda fine with, I've gotten used to them.
There is a workaround, get rid of your objects!
@Maybe_Maybe_not I already don't have much but some things I do want to keep :)
I think that I'm free of hate.
Anyhow - my least favourite is to clear up after those I live with.
heh heh... how about getting a shovel?
Cleaning toilets. I actually get right at it but still it’s gross.
Mopping the floor, I find it sooooo boring 🙄
I wish it was real lol
Changing the sheets, bedding, and pillow cases! I fucking have always hated doing that, and it never looks right. I Love washing it, I don’t mind folding it, it’s just a pain in the ass to put it all back together.
I hate weed whacking, I'm kind of lazy. I'd rather sit on a lawnmower and have a few drinks but weed whacking does make the yard look so much nicer.
Bathtub. I have a garden tub so it takes forever to clean.
It's a large oval shaped tub that's very deep enough to have two people in.
@Abbycado Really don't hate any work around the house. All has to be done, and I have no one else to do it. Got used to taking care of my place early as a bachelor
I actually don't like dusting. I presume most people don't like it.
For some, that is like a sandstorm scale event.
I agree, lol
IRONING... I'm seriously considering employing someone to take care of this.
You're Hired @Caroline91! lol
I have all my husband's business shirts, some of the children's clothes, some of my own shirts/blouses etc... Plus call me very old fashioned, I still iron all our bed linen!
So, just what's your secret to not ironing anymore?
dishes and laundry folding
i got scoliosis so it makes me back fucking DIE like im dead after it
makes my*
I really really dislike washing the floor. That's not to say I don't wash my floor. I simply dislike doing it.
Dishes by hands, ewww disgust me
Or changing the bed sheets
I don't enjoy vacuum cleaning. I need one of those robots and just sit on them. I'd imagine that's what @Circushowcowboy does.
That's what they are for, no?
To suck up the dust bunnies. Haha.
Lmao @Valdemort 👀
Where is our tiny comrade?
@Valdemort Mon dieu. XD
😂😂 wowww
@Circushowcowboy oh, hey there.
@Abbycado @Valdemort @Circushowcowboy how have times been down here, in the meantime? XD
😂😂 you all are the worst
Anything that requires scrubbing. The bathroom is the worst.

Changing the darn bed sheets lol. always a pain for me
I hate cleaning up the dog poop in the yard. It's so nasty
Cleaning the floors or washing the pots and pans
Definitely dishes. Even with a dishwasher I just don't want to.
Don’t worry Abby, they didn’t let my butt questions stay up for too long 😂
