Crying while drunk and high?

Do you think if a person cries almost every time they are drunk or high, it means deep down they are really upset about something? Every time I drink too much I end up hysterically crying, usually something small and insignificant will start it and usually I won't even remember that I cried or why I did, but this doesn't really happen to my friends. When I'm high I'll start crying for no reason too but I can actually feel the sadness, it feels like the worst thing in the world happened and I'll be so horribly upset (but don't know why) and almost unable to breathe from crying so hard...what does this mean?

Yeah, probably.

Sometimes drinking can give you the courage to express yourself in a way which you wouldn't when sober.

Maybe you need to think deep down, what you could be sad about. Childhood trauma, friend drama, poor relationship with your parents, resentment, anger or something.

If not, maybe drinking just makes you emotional

I don't drink but in my hypothetical world(since I'm 17) I laugh quite a bit when high

Haha yea after the crying attacks I'm very happy and laughing when I'm high.

But it's weird, there are things, things that you listed ^ that do bother me when I'm sober but not THAT much to feel so depressed/crying so much like I do...i dunno!

Yeah, I think so. Things come out unfiltered when you're drunk. Don't know about high though, being high shouldn't really do that to you...

But yeah, you've probably got a deep sadness that you hide without realising or something. I'm a very loving and horny drunk, hahaha. And I know where that's coming from.

Yea never seen it happen to anyone else when they're high, I turn into a complete hysterical lunatic though. But thanks that's what I think too, just not sure what exactly it is that is so upsetting. Hahaha you sound like a good drunk to me =)

Yea I don't as much as I used to but sometimes it's hard to decline since besides the crying episodes, being drunk and high is really fun haha. And it's hard for me to have self control, there's like no middle ground between being sober and totally wasted

That happens to me when I drink. I think it trigers a hormone or something.
