When my son was about 6 him, my friend and myself where playing cards. My friend said "what's that smell"? My son enounced very loudly "It's him" pointing his finger to a guy that just came to the front door. I said to my son "you can't say things like that" to which he replied " yeah well the stick wasn't here until he showed up". I looked over at my friend who was laughing and I told her not to encourage him though I was trying hard not to laugh myself.

Yeah. A few months ago I was in walmart & a family passed by & one of the guys smelled so bad that the smell lingered in the isle for a good few minutes after he left. Legit if humans could see trails of stench, that guy would have a thick green & brown one.

i remember when i used to work at a wendy's, there was a customer who'd sit at the corner of the store for most of the day and you could smell him from the register. he smelt like he legit had shit himself

No but I've grossed myself out on occasion. 7 days in the field as an Army officer sweating constantly can make you ripe enough that you notice yourself. Also 7-14 days backpacking with only occasional access to a place you can clean up and fresh clothing will get you there. The good news is that after a while you go nose blind to your own stink. Evolution covers all the bases.

Yes. I got a cab and wished I didn't. I found it necessary to have my nose out the window for the whole trip.

Got to my destination and there was a couple waiting.

I said to them you don't want this cab. Get the next one. They looked at me funny and jumped in anyway. By the time it had gone 5 car lengths, the passenger windows were rolling down.

it has happened in my past while I was working on an ambulance, some of the less fortunate in our society can not afford proper hygiene or facilities and become ill. When that happens we as first responders are exposed to their misfortune and the results of inadequate self care and maintenance. Its part of the job and where there's homelessness there's the chance of coming across these individuals.

I have taken public transportation a long time ago and there were many pissy winos that I have hadd the pleasure to encounter.

Also when I worked for the trophy company some wino puked in our freight elevator and I was the one that had to clean it up. That was a puke worthy event for sure.

it was starting to get to me the smell from the very obese guy that is at my job when he was in the break room and I don’t know if he even noticed himself, but it was really kind of getting to me. I’m glad I was leaving soon even though he’s a he’s a nice guy I was really getting sick from the smell

I agree. There are people that should be taken to a car wash and given a scrub brush!
I was raised on a farm. Nothing beats cleaning a chicken roost or a steer stable in the spring time. I also had a job of dumping toilets at my work in the hot summers. I can probably take foul odors better than most.

Yes! Many people smell like pig vomit. Their sweat literally smells like vomit. No better expression! Many also have bad breath. It’s so bad that I end up using more deodorant and mouthwash to forget that stench. It’s not the solution but prevents me from throwing up. It’s also incredibly interesting that those who smell bad also hate me and hate when they sense I don’t like their smell. It’s not my problem

Yes, someone’s B O can definitely make me sick to my stomach , and make me feel like I am going to throw up , some people just have very bad hygiene and do not know how to clean themselves n the proper way. I use to work with a guy that smelled

yes! recently i got my blood drawn and the person who walked by in the hallway smelled like literal poop! it also stayed in the air and the desk person actually went to the hallway to spray something to try to get rid of it

I actually threw up from the gangrene that I got before the last amputation I had. Broke my toe but didn't feel it. Bandaged it because I thought it was just a cut. Change bandage every day and the day I took it off and the toe was black and the flesh came off the tip was the worst smell you can imagine.

It was amputated next day before the dead tissue killed what's left of the foot.

After that, BO isn't so bad...

Yeah, Indians i worked with at a warehouse smelled like sour cigarettes, body odor and tons of other terrible smells. White Americans tend to smell like sour milk to them as well.
