To be loved.

Every other desire I can get or work towards. But love I cannot force, buy or make. I'm starting to think it's a mythical fictional creation. Like chasing a unicorn.

It's easier when you are young! Maybe love is a construct invented for the creation and desire to get married and have kids. Once you have done that (and failed at keeping the love alive) what purpose is love anymore?
For me I want companionship and to seek comfort and joy. But it seems men these days think unless finding a wife (to have kids with) a relationship is unnecessary.

That may be possible, but I can't speak for all men at all. I see love as the choice to keep choosing your person every day over and over again no matter how long it's been. It can truly be a cross, but it can also be sublime and bring peace :)

I don't really believe it's ever too late for anything :)
