What's the worst punishment you've received and what did you do to deserve it?

In school we were given lashes of the tawse if we stepped out of line.

In the end I think I received it 20 times as a kid. It worked for sure. One time though the headmistress gave me 2 of the "belt" for my shoddy spelling. It fukin worked too. I now spell "because" right ALL THE TIME. Lol. Bad thing was SHE did it in front of the whole class which was wrong. Almost like a pubic flogging.

Another when a bunch of us were snowball fighting with another bunch of kids from a nearby (catholic) school and one kid ended up in hospital with a rock that had ended up in a snowball and we got 6 from the depute head teacher Mr Scott. He was the best at giving it because he was so cool and calculating about it. Not abusive in the slightest for those thinking corporal punishment is wrong. All of us took it without questions or tears but at least he did it in private unlike the Headmistress who wasn't as hard with it but much more vindictive to the boys.

I was a teenager and was sneaking out of the window, in the middle of the night, to go be with a guy and my mother was outside the window and she grabbed my leg… scared the living hell out of me.
My punishment was to stay in my room until she said I could come out. This was in the 80’s so there wasn’t cell phones or computers that she had to take from me. I remember crying so hard and she came in the room, told me to cry in my pillow, she didn’t want to hear me crying, or she was going to give me a real reason to cry… you know, like whooping me for trying to sneak out.
I know it doesn’t sound like much of a punishment but as a kid it was then.

In grade 3 I got the strap 3 times on each hand then another 3 for crying. Why you ask? I didn't get my homework done.

When I was around... I don't know.. 7-9? My dad gave me one hard spanking. It hurt so much, physically and emotionally. I remember crying so much and I remember my heart was hurting too.
