about a year ago. Or 2 ago.

I was waiting in the car for my mom. I didn’t want to get off.

I saw tiny fluffy kittens hopping around my uncle’s yard. I was awed by how cute they looked.

I thought if I can catch one I am taking it! I recorded them fast before getting off the car. I walked slowly towards them. They froze for a millisecond and then
ran off and vanished! as if I was some demon lol

My uncle said they are just street cats but they were tiny fluff balls!
Hopping hopping everywhere!

I spent like 3 hours searching and I couldn’t find where they ran to.

my uncle helped me but we couldn’t find them lol and my mom was annoyed that I was so persistent about finding them.

she didn't get to see them.

i was going to give one of them a lovely home but they were too scared so.. all I have now is the video I recorded of them right before I got off to go see if I can catch one lol

I took those, the first one was on a sort of balcony, while I was wandering in the streets, looking for subjects. The second one was indoor, at friend's place. And the last one was another balcony cat, from the opposite building, on the other side of the street :)

What camera do you use?

Nothing fancy nor expensive really, a sony compact camera, HX50 from 2015. Easy to carry and draw plus the 30x zoom. Especially that, since most phones would outclass my camera at close range, but they can'tdo anything at long range

Even without. In retrospect, I think that photography is an entertaining way to get to know a place we thought we knew, through its sentient life, its inanimate objects, so many things to uncover... Have fun exploring 🖖🏽

Yeah. I was fascinated with dinosaurs when I was a kid. So the first first pet of own was a baby cayman. Later, I turned our playhouse into a reptile house with some snakes and lizards.

I don't tend to though I have a couple cat friends who live by my work. They run out to greet me when I park some days. My fiance didn't believe me that they recognize my car so when I saw one of them as I was parking one morning I recorded as I was getting out of the car and the cat was running towards me going "mrp mrp mrp mrp" with every step. They both wear clown collars so it's extra funny.

I grew up with cats. Most cats don't like people stopping and looking at them unless they know them. I leave cats to be cats and leave them in peace.

I also grew up with cats, haha. I know a bunch about cats. Most of the pics I take are from very far away and my camera has an AWESOME zoom in lol.

Also... I have a thing with cats... they get used to seeing me when I do my walks and stuff and they all eventually warm up to me and even just start meowing and walking up to me when they see me coming. They know I come in peace ✌️
