Where you had a repetitive dream either from the same perspective or another one but its the same dream? I wonder what this means

I did have a couple of dreams that sort of repeated themselves when I was in my late teens and early 20s. Usually they were nightmares but one was a rather erotic but weird one that I won't go into details with just hope that it can come back lol.

I'm in a phase where I can't recall dreams unfortunately, but I've had returning dreams clearly showing anxiety about specific events, things with school mostly, which were pesky, they lasted even years after college lol. I explain them as a sort of feeling of regret that I didn't compensate for, that I didn't balance internally... Until I did and then they left me in peace?

when i do dream i feel like a lot of times it is

it can be or annoying if it's like a nightmare bc i will start lucid dreaming and be like "oh im dreaming this again" then start losing control of my dream lol

well it's like as soon as i either realize im dreaming bc its recycled or it's an intense nightmare that somehow hasn't woken me up, then my brain let's me take control for a short period to change the setting

it's cool and weird when it happens bc it's like your brain is awake yet isn't? almost like sleep paralysis where it's a weird state
