7 figures means 1 million or higher.

Where I’m from that is a bit absurd to make. You would need to own a really big factor that supplies Europe with x product. I don’t think I’ll be earning this salary anytime soon unless I decide to literally cut out every piece of joy out of my life and focus on the entrepreneurial side of my career long term. I think aiming for half of that would just be right for me and allow me to become very wealthy making smart decisions I could turn that into 10s of millions in wealth over the course of my life.

Depends on when you want to be rich

If you want to be rich at 20 or 30, you'll need a large salary

At 40-50 you could earn well probably using you own business and be a diligent saver

At 60 , you can be a lower earner who has let compounding work it's magic on your safe investments

I think you can scrape by on 200K. Just over 100K is a bit marginal now. What counts is how much you have after all expenses and is discretionary expenditure or discretionary investing.

It is possible that a person on 100K has more investing capacity than someone on 200K because they have a more expensive wife.
