How much money would it take for you to feel wealthy?

Many of my customers are wealthy, so I know what the reality of that looks like. I wouldn't feel wealthy unless I was making $5M/year minimum. Less than that, I would be "well off" but certainly not "wealthy."

A number of my customers can look at a property and buy it on a whim. Granted, they're smart, and these properties are rented out to generate income when they aren't using them - such as one of my customers who owns 4 properties on the same street in Hawaii, each property having 5 bungalows surrounding a pool. They vacation there several times a year, but the rest of the time, those places are making income.

Several of my customers make multiple millions per year, easily, and I've worked on most of their various properties. At least one makes well into 8 figures per year, if not more. He's originally from Louisiana, and he flew out the New Orleans Preservation Hall Jazz Band to play at his Mardi Gras -themed house party last year. And even with all that, I'd say that he doesn't live a very extravagant lifestyle, compared to, say, what someone in Hollywood might with far less money. Arguably, his nicest car is a restored '65 Mustang convertible, and his daily driver is a Chevy Volt. No Bentleys or Ferraris - but I do see a Tesla in his future.
