I lived in Arizona for about 15 years at one time. I do not miss the heat. They say it's not so bad because of the low humidity. But when it's 120° in the shade you'll never believe that.

We dont really have seasons , there is Hot / Hot and Wet / Wet and Hot / but mostly just Hot , even " winter " hot , Songkran is in April to give some context , so you could say Songkran ( New year / water festival ) is Summer.

I had heard about that bill. I don't know enough about it to have an informed opinion but without knowing more I have mixed feelings. Of course I don't want fake sexual things about women or children to be publicly posted, that isn't the part that I worry about. But free speech is also important and I think we have to be careful with it with this new AI stuff. It is a complicated issue. So it all depends on the details of the bill.

No, I live on an island in the ocean on the northeast coast. We have not had a bad hurricane here for a number of years, but it is on the hurricane path and there have been several really bad ones in my lifetime. The last one wiped out homes in my neighborhood. So you never know.

I could understand her anger. But this AI stuff is complicated and needs to be thought out carefully. You can't just have a blanket rule about things without infringing on Free speech. Not sure what the answer is but I assume it will be worked out in time. That's what future generations are for! 🙂
