Mmmm, I say 50- 60% sauce to chip as a cooling then step it up 75-80%.

Usually 4/4 chips, and 0/4 sauce. Be it for fries, chips, crisps or whatever. Because sauce ruins the taste for me. I may use spices sometimes though, like paprika, I like adding paprika to crisps, but not fries, or chi--- Anyway.
