Am I the only one frustrated with door delivery? They always tell you it will be 20 minutes and its 70 minutes. Couldn't they just be honest?

Foods delivery or stuff in my place don’t need me, they will just put them in the lobby here. So it won’t really bother me, unless in that time i am starving.

They normally give you a map with a position where they are when they're close to delivering. It is frustrating when they stop and you wonder what they're doing being stationary for so long.

Marketing is all about good lying. How else do you think they can overcharge? As much as I'm aware, some online shopping platforms charge you hefty for one day deliveries. Do those work even?
