I'm not a GIANT. But that is everyday for me already. So I can tell you how it makes me feel. It's a 6 feet and under world. So most things from stadium seats, to cars, to clothes, to shower heads, to something as simple as looking in the mirrors being mounted chest level. You're asked several times a week, "how tall are you". People stare at you and you don't know if it's out of fear or curiosity. One things for certain. They never let you forget that you're an oddity.

Thanks. I think that can go for anybody that's solidly outside the norm though. Too tall, too short, too big, too thin. At the end of the day everyone just wants to feel accepted. I think that's why that Wilt Chamberlain quote resonates with me. Because he may have been famous, he may have been revered. But I'm sure there's a part of him that always felt like an outcast.

That really hits deep. You are absolutely right -anyone outside the standart mold can feel like they don't quite belong. But honestly, there is something powerful in how you express it. Being different may come with height, but it also makes people unforgettable. The world doesn't always makes space for that but that doesn't make it less meaningful. I'm glad you shared it.
