Everyone is a mouth breather, and a nose breather.

When you inhale and exhale through your nose, its also moving air in and out of your mouth, as lips aren't an airtight seal and only cover the front of the mouth, this is because your trachea isn't in your nose, its in your throat past the point where the nasal passage and mouth converge, so breathing will always push the air past both entry/exits ways (unless your nose is clogged or you are choking).

It is literally impossible for humans to prevent air from passing over the tongue and teeth when breathing, because we don't have a palletal valve and glottal flap like crocodilians do.

All closing your mouth when breathing does is make the mouth retain a bit more moisture while breathing, not enough to matter in a healthy person though.

Depends. I prefer to breath through my nose but sometimes my allergies have other idea's.

Definitely not. I wanted to build stamina so learned to breathe through my nose at all times, especially during high intensity workouts etc.

Though, for some reason I always open my mouth slightly and press my palate when I'm mopping/sweeping the floor, so maybe I'm a mouth breather while cleaning lol

I can breathe through my tear ducts if I try hard enough.
