I move my appliances out every 3 months. I have 2 cats and a dog and their fur and toys get stuck under them. The walls and floor get a full wash down while it's out
I'm glad they are starting to make them with wheels.

You can set a shop vac to be a blower by switching the hose to the other port. Then you can blow the dust from under a heavy appliance if it's in a place where you can do that. It's not that hard to move them for an average man but it can tear up the floor and there are delicate mechanisms involved like the coils on the back of a refrigerator. It's best not to move them if you don't have to.
Fairly randomly but maybe one or two times a year. Once you do it, do it right so it doesn't need much attention for a while. Things like fridges and freezers aren't easy and risky damaging floors as well as the appliances themselves. SO for me it's under the furniture maybe monthly and some of the bigger less mobile things ones a year.
I try to do it every few months.
A couple times a year maybe more or less.
