How is Summer treating you so far?

Well someone jumped off the 4th floor today and landed right in front of my window. I was sleeping in because I don't have work today and I had some trouble sleeping the nigt before so I was resting a lot. I woke up at 11 when the police was ringing my bell. I was like wtf is going on. They said someone had an accident so don't open your shutters.

I live in a building for people with mental difficulties and there's 55 apartments so there's more than usual going on here but damn. I don't think it's one of the people I've gotten close to since I moved here but it's still unsettling and sad.

I went out the other side of the building and went for a walk because I needed some sunlight.

Other than that I'm doing alright. I'm expanding my life and I'm still figuring out how to handle it. Finding the right balance between diving into new things and the stability I still need. I don't know I felt really weird yesterday because of this challenge, but also because I wasn't rested. Today I'm fine though.

It’s burning hot here and it seems tomorrow will be even hotter

And while I’m sweating far all the wrong reasons 😏
I still prefer summer to winter any day

I don't like the cold still lingering in the shadows or at night... it makes it hard to enjoy the sun and warm weather if in any shadow you get immediately goosebumps and have to fight the urge to look for a jacket when in the sun it's really nice and hot :D

but I like the amount of light and a positive sunny weather :D

Summer will make me suffer from heat. Spring also is making me suffer... sometimes it makes me believed the conspiracy humans came... i mean did not evolve here.

LOL I had to return some equipment to my home guard unit and went 4 times in 3 days (it's a 30 minute drive/ride) and because of unequal opening times got there when each station was either closed or open later in the day. About 120km all in when it should have been 30.

Weather been ok and I am off to Lisbon tomorrow so we'll see.

Today is the first day of summer and it only got up to 80°f. So far so good. :D
I'm glad I'm in California and not where they are having a heat wave. But we will get our hot weather by the time summer is over.

It’s winter by me, it’s so cold… had rain for about 10 days straight. I don’t like that the sun is down by around 4/4:40pm… I also hate getting up for work at 5am and it’s extremely cold that your fingers and nose are sore

I never liked summer. You think I would have when I was younger. I never did though too. Sticky too hot too. Gross . I just don't.
