When you do housework, what do you wear?

Obviously, you are not going to wear a prom dress or a tux. But on a normal warm day, how do you dress inside your house?

On my chores day, which is usually Saturday, I wear some old baggy clothing like a long sleeve top and some pants that I would no longer wear to go outside, either because there are holes in them or because they are stained.

Those pieces of garment will never see the outside world anymore and don't mind to get soiled.

That is my standard dress code for my weekly housework.

Ah yardwork!

That would be something more adapted for that type of work. I hate yardwork and I avoid it like the plague. Unfortunately, the plague catches up with me but it will always be something lose and not constricting

I live in long t-shirts outside of work hours, sometimes with shorts.

Me and my girlfriend, both wear the most comfortable and casual in our home.

I am usually on shirts and shorts.. she does the same or sometimes when we have lots of work to do, and temp is a bit hot. She prefers to wear my oversized shirts, just to keep it cool and let the air flow.

Afterall it's just us, and there's isn't anything that I haven't seen.
