Does the building you live in have an elevator? If so how many times do you choose to take the stairs instead?

i do the stairs in Santa Monica when i'm there so i'm in pretty good shape for this kind of thing but in my building in New York i'm on the 61st floor. once a month they have these voluntary evacuations for preparedness and i did one once and holy moly was that difficult, and that was going down stairs

i did get to see the guy from the Blacklist so that was pretty cool, and he said he was going to go up. my fiancé's an athlete and he went back up also and made it fine but i went and got a Danish 🤷‍♀️

Because we live in a house, there is no elevator, but there is a long flight of stairs.

I live in a single family house with no elevator.

In other buildings I will almost always take the stairs up to three floors - assuming the stairs are nearby. I will often take the stairs up five floors or higher. I never understood people who take the elevator, then pay money to go to the gym. That makes no sense to me.

At home, my bedroom is in the basement where it's nice and cool in the summer, and nice and warm in the winter. I take the stairs dozens of times a day.

No. I have a free standing house with a yard.

I have lived in 3 different apartments before I had homes. All were just 2 floors with stairs.

Elevator to the 4th floor. That's about 64 steps if I choose the second option. The elevator is my preferred choice when carrying stuff home or during the warm summer months.

Stairs if at all possible all the time. Elevators are great ways to get sick but also great ways to meet awesome people

No, I only 1 time lived in a building with an elevator (mother in laws not including). I hated it. Too dependent on others. 17th floor or over 30. Nope not for me
