Always up the stairs if I can help it, even if I'm carrying a lot of things. When I'm with my wife and friends, we wait for the elevator, but I find it so boring and slow.

I'm truly a child when I have to wait on anything. "Are we there yet?" -"How about now?" -"Geez, this is so boring!"

I tried going fishing one time with my buds and I drove them nuts to the point where they never invited me again. I was like, "Wait, so we just wait here for the fish to bite?" Friends: "Yep." Me: "And this is supposed to be fun?" Friends: "Yep." Me: "WHAT?"

Also a former sprinter on my track team. I like to just dash around everywhere. I have a very sedentary job as a programmer sitting next to computers all day so I tend to have a lot of energy saved up when we go out that I want to burn through.

Do you also see how many stairs you can miss, and run up them too? <<Does this!

@TommyMountainFigure I love it along with skipping lines on the road, 3 steps at a time! I'm not the tallest guy though so three is about my limit.

@TommyMountainFigure On that note, I also can't climb one step at a time unless I'm deliberately slowing myself down like to work different muscles. Even when I was a little child being only like 4 feet tall, I was too impatient to climb up one step at a time. I always favored 2+. Going down I go one at a time typically but with very quickly: pitter-patter-pitter-patter! Slide and shoot down.

I would absolutely always take the stairs, unless I was carrying tons of luggage... Hmm, no even then I would probably choose the stairs, depending on how tired I was.

It's according to how many stairs, what time of the day it is and how much time you have.

If it's early and you have nowhere to be in a hurry, and the number of stairs is manageable, take the stairs.

If it's 5 in the afternoon and it's been a long day, take the elevator. The point is, don't be lazy and NEVER take the stairs. A little exercise can perk you up. Too much at the wrong time will exhaust you! Keep exercising!

Stairs if on my own... However if I have the children (one still in her buggy) then it has to be the lift, that's if there's one available.

It depends on whether my leg (s) is/are injured or not. If not, then preferably no more than 12 flights of stairs at a time. Bragging- walking up 3 stairs at a time.

Escalator or stairs. Waiting for an elevator seems pointless.

Depends on if I'm in a hurry or not. If I'm not in a hurry, I'll take the stairs. If I am, I'll take the lift (I'm American, so elevator).

It depends on how many floors. I walked 1776 stairs to the top of the CN Tower. I WON'T be doing that again. If it's a short distance I'll take the stairs; otherwise, the elevator. How about you?
