What is something you like the most when you hold it in your hand?

probably someone who was successfully revied from a cardiac incident or other trauma and is still here today because of what we did.
So many people seem to take for granted how precious life is, and how fleeting it can be. Alive 1 minute, gone in mere seconds.
We had a call in our town yesterday 2 vehicle MVA and a pedestrian.
That intersection has a fair amount of 2 vehicle incidents, it's 30mph, so usually not a big deal.
Well a friend of mine lives 1 house down, and owns a rental house on the corner.
He was edging the sidewalk, and 1 vehicle T boned the other, that car then hit my friend knocking him about 30 feet or so from where he was.
He will recover in time, I still have not heard all of the extent of his injuries, but to be able to hold his hand and give him reassurance that we were there for him, and would contact people for him, having someone come and take care of his dog meant a great deal to him, and to me since he was still here.
Probably a foot either way could have had a whole different outcome.
I love it when my lover slips her little hand trustingly into mine when we are walking together. It means that she feels safe, secure, and proud to be with me.
I will speak for something that may happen only in the future.
Holding my degree in my hand will hopefully feel great. It would be the achievement of so many years studying, so many sacrifices and so many sleepless nights trying to be up to date with all those lessons, tests and exams.
Yes, that must feel great to be able to finally wake up in the morning and not having to think of classes at university, to be able to sleep in till 8 AM and to know that I can put all the things I learned to the service of science and hope to bring my little contribution.
Throbbing hearts of my enemies that I've cut out of their breasts.
