How did they find it, and what did they find? They've been doing a lot of analysis of the interiors of pyramids from muon transmission. But it's reasonable to forbid anything destructive.

Why would they cover it up? For sure that there still some hidden things awaiting to be discovered but these cylendrical towers and bases and the bottom plus the large city underneath are so exaggerated which will feed the hunger of conspiracy theorists and the ones who believes in ancient aliens, who can shut erich van danicken now 🤣🤣
