More is lost through indecision than a wrong decision. What are your thoughts?

Hey Guys, there's an old saying that goes "More is lost through indecision than a wrong decision"; sometimes we forego opportunities in our lives because of our inability to make a choice.

Do you agree with this statement? Have you missed out on opportunities in your life because of your indecisiveness? Do you look back and contemplate the possibilities had you been resolute in that moment?

I would love to your hear your thoughts!

Yes, I have learned (Often by being pushed 🤣) that no decision is really "wrong". Like if I make a wrong turn then I know not to go that way again where as if I sit there all day not going anywhere then I never know.

Hell even surviving Covid or pandemics, recessions or politics - life's a bitch :P

100% true. The best decisions I ever made were when I saw an opportunity I thought might work and just went for it and in most cases, I was ridiculously unqualified.

Indecision IS a decision - and it's usually the wrong decision. It's only correct when the best decision actually IS to "do nothing", but you can arrive at that consciously and purposefully, or because you didn't know what to do and time expired on you. In my experience, more often than not, the latter doesn't work out the best.

Yes, in many- but not all- cases. Yes I have. Sometimes, but the past is the past, so why dwell on it. In our house, I dubbed it "paralysis through analysis".
