Showering morning and night is the best way, but being single, and with water shortages I don't always do so.

Showering in the morning makes me feel fresh for the new day, and gives me confidence, I am the best I can be, no matter who I meet that day.

Showering at night, keeps my bed clean and fresh, until I next replace the bed linen, and gives me a good feeling when in bed, and probably gives me a better sleep.

Also when I go to bed with a partner I want to be clean, and be as perfect as I can be for her.

Before retiring from my career, I showered morning and evening.
Now, long retired, I'll shower when heading out for an appointment, or whenever I may so desire a shower.
At least once a day, be it morning, afternoon, evening, middle of the night, whenever the mood strikes me.
