@Sunrising In Spain and Latin American countries, the saying goes that cats have seven lives. English speaking countries put the total mumber at nine. I don't know where the difference comes from, but it's there.

Anyway, you only have to be careful when you've only got one left. After that, it's GAME OVER.

Apparently the myth comes from ancient Egypt. The phrase was popularised partly through the saying, "For 3 he plays, for 3 he strays, and for the last 3 he stays". The saying was mentioned in Romeo and Juliet.

I like cats so I probably would be a curious cat.

I took in a neighbours cat because they went living abroad.

We had a very good relationship, (cats are wonderful if you get to know them)

Anyway this cat obviously watched everything I did, and tried to understand my actions, even though I didn't notice the cat watching at the time.

I was in the kitchen and suddenly I heard a bang and a clatter where the cat had been.

I looked to see what the commotion was, and I just saw the cat dive under the sofa.

I looked on the wall and I noticed my barometer was missing off the wall.

Obviously the cat had been watching me adjusting the barometer as the pressure rose and fell, and was curious as to what it was.

I laughed, and I persuaded the cat it wasn't in trouble. After putting the barometer back on the wall, I picked the cat up, and I showed it the barometer, and how I was adjusting it.

Curiosity satisfied my barometer never came of the wall.

The next time time my cat was curious...

Iunno about cat, but I'm definitely curious. I'm the kind of guy that will annoy people and search stuff up in the middle of conversation to either confirm facts or to use something relevant to the conversation.

When it comes to things I'm interested in, I dive through rabbit hole after rabbit hole until I'm completely satisfied with the knowledge I've gained. It's why I'm relatively knowledgeable on many trivial matters.
