And so, another Halloween has come and gone, leaving happy memories of another fun-filled Samhain Celebration. However, my attention seeking, pathetic moans and overacted whining this morning might lead one to believe that not all is well.

Caught up in the fun momentum of the fun evening I might have drank a little too much fun. And now, after a nite of putting the fun in dysfunction I am feeling like I could put the fun in funeral. Oh, fun!

I know it is impossible to believe but I was not looking or feeling like a princess this morning when I still had to get up at 6:30 AM to take care of barnyard responsibilities. I mean , yes, my pookie (She hates it when I call her that🤣 ) SHOULD have been an angel and gotten up and done my chores even tho feeding the stoopid chickens is technically my job since my little house is technically an extension of my parents little farm and technically I am employed by them. Technically. So, it wasn't my fault when I accidentally made a lot of noise making coffee and accidentally woke her up and accidentally started informing her of my present, unprincess-like condition. Accidentally.

So, Random is there a damn point to your rambling, irrelevant rants?

Yes. Yes, there is. My pookie had the audacity to say, "You look like it was a rough night." Rough night? No, it was an awesome night. It was a rough damn morning.

And so, this post is for anyone who might be wondering, Was it a rough night?

Try being a first responder law enforcement, emergency room doctor/nurse/etc, 911 operator, paramedic/EMT, firefighter, etc.

Last night there was three fatality motor vehicle collision. A three car crash on a farm road highway, another one on the freeway, and another hit and run by a taxi cab verses a mini bike. There was also a 11 year old girl trick or treating that was struck by a vehicle who was okay. There was a shots fired call, a house fire, and a armed robbery.

Keep in mind… this was going on AT THE SAME TIME… not to mention all the other calls of people on controlled substances and drunk. As well as all the other calls throughout the night. That was just within a few hours. Cops and fire department was having to leave special assignments just to respond. Such as blocking traffic and working at bars and sporting events.
