I work in the restaurant industry and during our slow times and people I need to help me are distracted and socializing or on break or disappear.. and there’s something I need right away.. I know how to get it on my own but theyre paid to do this.. so at certain times of the day I need it done ASAP so I’ll take initiative to do it myself and they see me and try to help and I’m like, “it’s ok, I got this”.

Sometimes but there’s formal and informal ways around phrases and such and learning from people seems more legit
