There's a popular song in these parts by Corb Lund called :
"Gettin' down on the mountain" which has the lyrics:
"Can you break the horse? Can you light the fire? What's that, I beg your pardon?
You best start thinking where food comes from and I hope you tend a good garden"
So, with all that's going on in the world these days, if this little electronic world goes out for any length of time , it makes me wonder who can really survive? Our family has lived off the land for generations. We have our own spring water, get our own firewood, grow and store our own fruits/veggies for the long winter months. We hunt/fish and know what herbs to use for medicinal purposes. I have never gone hungry a day in my life and it's not 'cuz I'm a spoiled rich princess. We work hard when we need to and we know how to survive.
We also know how to make booze out of just about anything since my family was well known for being "bootleggers" in years gone past and we keep up the proud heritage. But that's beside the point.
So, the questions I pose to you, dear G@G community, are, "Can you track the deer? Can you dig the well?"
