Do you often have vivid or lucid dreams and nightmares?

Last night, I had a nightmare where 2 black kids carjacked me in downtown Knoxville at a park.

I often have weird dreams that often progress to nightmares.

Some of these nightmares can become very demonic and have the same theme and location, in my house where I am fighting a demonic presence.

Other common ones are when I accidentally drive into a ghetto or where I am trying to dial a number in a dire situation and cannot correctly dial the number. I have also have some where I lose my teeth or catastrophically break my electronics.

The last nightmare I vividly remember was about a year ago. I had a dream I was at the airport and people started running and said there's a man with a gun! I remember running and getting under a table and freaking out because I could hear him getting closer. I could see his shoes from under the table and could see he had what I figured were hostages, then all of a sudden, he looked under the table and saw me! That's when it ended. I rarely have nightmares, I think that's why I remember it so well.

Almost every night. My dreams would be nightmares to the average person. 9/10 times they involve someone being mutilated, sometimes it’s me and sometimes it’s a loved one.

The last dream I had was me and my friend went to see a movie at the theatre. It was a normal, calm movie. Then suddenly the screen changed to a gorey horror movie, people on the screen were being turned inside out and merging together to create big fleshy messes with their organs hanging out. I covered my eyes. Then my 7 year old niece walked into the theatre and she saw what was on the screen, and she was horrified. I got up and tried to run to her to cover her eyes but just as I got to her, she turned inside out and her organs fell to the floor and she started screaming.

No, I have to use a CPAP machine and I rarely get into a deep enough sleep so that I dream.

That sounds like a living nightmare to me. I have severe sleep apnea, averaging 52 breathing interruptions an hour, and I cannot tolerate a cpap. My BMI is too high to qualify for implant surgery. I am just 31 by the way.

I do not like wearing it but I really do have sleep apnea so I guess there are worse things.
