So how about you? Any dreams or nightmares you have over and over?
Do you or have you ever had recurring dreams or nightmares?

Yes, dreams help you over come stress.
Example you will dream more fearful things than your current real life (or is it the other way? 🤔)
You dream not making it to the exam hall or forgetting hall ticket or something more stressful and when you wake out of it, you suddenly feel LOL and your stress is not that bad.🕺
You are suddenly find your self without clothes and embarrassed, you wake up and laugh at the awkward moment you are worried about happening or the move you want to make with your girl/guy seems not that dreadful afterall🤷♂️
I get vivid dreams
Of course. Let's say I dream I'm at college. All the buildings I used to go to are there. They are just arranged in a specific "alternate universe", and that alt/universe stays the same from dream to dream. Same for my parents house- it's somewhat different, but it is congruent from dream to dream.
Being burned on a scaffold for witchcraft and abortions. Last time I had this dream soldiers who led me to place with the scaffold had police cams on their armors. This was so disturbing I woke up and didn't burn this time like many times before.
most nights since i was a kid
its fine tho like im used to it

Night terrors. My past revisiting me. Ghosts I don't want to wake walking through my subconscious mind showing me things I don't want to remember. Totally unpredictable. Pretty exciting / real. Less often over time.
Getting late boarding a plane, or getting stuck in traffic on my way to the airport.
Strange, because it never happened in real life. I'm the one showing up 5 hours before departure, just in case.
Yup, Getting late for flight is a classic one! But the dream remains in the limbo. The plane never leaves and you never conclude if you are actually late. The entire dream is same emotion "worry of being late. A reflection of what's happening in real life. So, when you wake up, your actual life challenges now look less concerning.
@Malemajor Thanks for explaining. I didn't know it was a classic one.
When I was still a teenager I was heavily into down hill skiing I frequently had drams about falling i was pretty sure that was just my fear of heights reminding me.
As a child I sometimes had these "endless fall" nightmares. Since adulthood, none.
Yes mostly I am being chased by dogs. Sometimes es I am killed by a truck while hitchhiking through a tunnel that no longer exists
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Yes, unfortunately, work dreams, unfinished projects, etc etc.
I have things in my past that will sneak in and haunt me, don't we all?
Sometimes it just plays just like it did back then, and then other times the situation will be worse.
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 i used to have regular but now decreased.
those were very scary dreams that even when I woke up my body is cold and I stay motionless
I used to have them a lot when I was a kid. Nightmares no kid should have and I still don't know where they came from
I don't have the exact same dreams like I did as a child, but I do have some that pick up from earlier ones, kind of like being in the same "genre" of dreams.
Yep, i had the same creepy dream over the years, same dream every year...
I’d be on a house, then all kinds of wildlife appears. Weird
No, Not that I remember. Dennis
