I am never late, still alive, nor am i early. I arrive precisely when I mean to.

I'm Indian. I'm late.

Okay apart from the stereotypes, when I'm attending things alone then I'm usually early, sometimes way too early because I'm usually excited to do stuff and I enjoy being the first one.

But say if my family is to attend a party or somewhere, then we're late. But then every other family is also late so it cancels out and we're on time. Here in India, they write an earlier time on wedding card because everyone knows the official time is 2 hours after what it written on the card.

I used to be insaine at showing up to stuff on time but now I'm only like that for certain things. Especially when I realized how Casey neistat uses being late to stuff to build up his persona of being this busy, motivational guy.

I make an effort to be on time, not early, not late. In business or formal appointments that's a minimum courtesy to others involved. In social situations, arriving early to someone's party may be inconvenient and unappreciated by the host. Arriving late without a good reason can send the message that the event wasn't a priority for you. That's a mild insult to the host. If I do arrive early, I'll find something to occupy me until it's appropriate to show up.
