Why do people say they like Winter when all they do during Winter is sit at home?

I personally hate winter too much, but actually here in the uk some people do really enjoy going out for long winter walks in the snow/rain or maybe even sometimes a crisp sunny day, then going home to get into your pj’s for the rest of the day and maybe light a fire or just snuggle up on the sofa and watch a movie. You just be you bud, and don’t worry about everyone else, I doubt there all that bothered about you either to be fair. It all balances out in the end…

It's cool when it snows, but that's rare and people glamorize it, even when it snows the aftermath sucks. If we had like the northern lights at night it'd be cool

It is not rare where I live. There's always a shortage of plowing trucks and road salt. Plenty of people bust their ass on ice or get into collisions because of it.

It should be normal to be less active in the winter.

I do like winter and always say how much I like winter, because I do like the cold...

but down here, the winters are not TOO cold to keep you grounded at home, doesn't even snow... so, we still go out do stuff we gotta do... lol
