Am I the only one who dislikes winter?

It's annoying... The only good thing about it is layering with clothes and morw clothing style options

Even though I live in Canada (or maybe perhaps because I do), I don't like the winter either. lol I don't like the cold, and I don't like having to shovel snow, and chop and scrap ice off the sidewalks. Not to mention dealing with road and sidewalk plows that bury your freshly cleared sidewalk/driveway as soon as one goes by (sometimes as much as 2-3 times a day when there's fresh snow). 🤬 I don't like how my activity level drops during the winter, and how I can't go for bike rides because of road and trail conditions (ice and snow), or how I'm not able to go for regular walks sometimes due to the condition of the sidewalks (it can be treacherous at times). I don't like having to bundle up with a bunch of layers, nor do I like having to consider what I have to put on from day to day, depending on how cold it is. It can be annoying to have to pick clothes and footwear depending on the inclimate weather that day may bring. Other than a couple activities, I'm not a fan of most winter sports or activities, so I tend to spend more time indoors than I normally like to. Not to mention the fact that the days are much shorter during winter, and where I live it tends to be pretty cloudy from November through March in particular, which can get pretty depressing sometimes. Also, the leaves are gone from the trees for 6 months of the year too, which in addition to everything turning brown, it tends to be very drab looking. There are certain aspects of winter that can be pretty, but for the most part it's something I typically endure rather than enjoy.

I'm much more a fan of summer because of the warm weather, it's much sunnier, the days are much longer, which I really enjoy; the trees have all their foliage and flowers are in bloom; the air is full of wonderful smells from flowers and plants, the birds are singing; I don't have to even think about what to wear day to day (just throw on a T-shirt and shorts, and go); there are lots of activities I enjoy doing during summer that the warmer weather allows, etc.

There's about a million other things I could mention, but yeah, in order of preference, I prefer summer over any other season, followed by spring, fall then winter.

Isn't it still like 20 degrees in Greece? Anyway, I'm not a big fan. My body does not like this season. Christmas is hard too, having to see family and anything decent being closed over the holidays.

However, I find it a bit more tolerable these days with cold showers. It's a good way of toughening yourself up to the cold.

I like how peaceful it gets and how cozy it is indoors since there is more Starbucks varieties in the winter. I used to hate winter when I was a student cause it means cold nights busing home from church or travelling to school during the day in icy winds. Sometimes exams would get rescheduled due to snow.

I don't like it either. I like snowflakes but not snow & ice everywhere. And I hate the coldness in general.

most of my exes and friends are not the biggest fans... nor my family and it doesn't even get that cold down here... we don't even get snow, lol I prefer it and the colder, the better too

I dislike winter too. If I can be inside with warmth it's fine for me but it's expensive with heating

My favourite season is autumn. In winter I'm too cold, in summer too hot, and when it's spring I sneeze a lot and am attacked by insects.

I like the cold and the dark tho I find having to cook myself in my car just to be able to see to be very infuriating. And well I dislike Christmas also it's just a pain.
