Are you sick of winter?

Question

It has been cold since before Thanksgiving. It has been exceptionally cold and snow banks are so high I can barely see over them. It looks like the next week will not be much better.

Usually not around much during winter season…
I have always went south (Florida/New Orleans) to escape the cold in Christmas and mid winter week (presidents week off)… so by the time I get back… winter almost over…

lol this year we didn’t go anywhere… and it’s the coldest… I’m okay… it’s cold… not sick of it… just accept it… better day tomorrow. I think the deep cold is over for this season.
I also bought a very very warm coat. So not too terrible.
wr also have Eletric blankets, Eletric gloves… warm up car before driving. Etc…

the only thing I can’t go out as much as I like.

I’m not a huge fan of the cold and I find myself daydreaming about the tropics.  It looks like that kid turned the groundhog into a hat. 😈

After living next to Canada for almost a decade... I'm here in Southern California and to me... winter no longer exists. The "cold" here is T-shirt and shorts for me. The idea of snow no longer exists. I'm dreading that aweful heat coming back... the only good thing about the heat is the women start dressing in a manner that makes it easier for me to undress them with my eyes.

That was a joke. If they're halfway decent looking they're still dressed like a slut. The fat chicks are the ones in sweat shirts hiding their titties... and a lot of them still let it all hang out.

Here in the Southeast, we've had a few days of bitter cold, followed by warm temperatures. I'm tired of the flipping back and forth that's been happening since December. One day I wear a winter coat, knitted cap and gloves, and a few days later, just a sweatshirt.

I prefer it to be cold in Texas around this time cause I know it's gonna be hot from here on. It rarely snows, usually not at all, I would like if it did.

I grew up in western Connecticut which is a notch below Quebec winters. It was zero degrees regularly but I enjoyed it. Moving to Texas was a big adjustment when for most of my life, 80 degrees was hot, and now it's 80 degrees even at night in the summer

It’s very cold here especially at night time. I’m actually shivering. I just don’t want it to be so hot where I’m miserable sweating waking up and there’s a puddle of sweat on the floor this happened to me before several times last summer. It was so hot and the air-conditioning is extremely expensive to run it 24 hours a day

I don’t experience seasons, but a lot of people get tired of winter , less sunlight, colder days, and lower energy can wear on you.

Still, some enjoy the quiet, cozy side of it.

I do not mind cold weather but I do not like the sickness that spreads in cold weather. I once spent $400 in one month on health and nutrition to treat an illness because I never use medicine, I always use nutrition to cure health problems.

It's more the dark, the lack of sunlight, the lack of motivity. It's hard to get out of bed when it's dark and then I can't really be arsed going out in the evenings for the same reason.

NO. It has been warmer than normal here and the mountains NEED SNOW. The skiing is getting sketchy in the Sierras and forget about the local mountains. It was in the mid-80's (F) last week.
