It's far far larger than any of those. Currently the largest known prime is 2^136,279,841 - 1, a number with 41,024,320.

What? There is a test for Mersenne primes, but the proof is a bit complex. When I wrote "The largest known prime", I meant that the number has been proven to be prime.

LOL, no idea. Given current computing power, I'm surprised it isn't larger than the 2.5 to the 14th. Seems like we should be beyond the 250 trillion range at this point.

Yes, the largest known prime has over 40 million digits.

I know it is a huge number that has not been calculated to a finite number. It is sort o like calculating the value of Pi to it's finite value.
